About Us
Our school, located in Friendswood, Texas (a Houston suburb), strives to be a place to develop artistic ability and to further the mind to excel, not only in dance, but in life. We invite you to join our dance family, where our goal is to provide a pleasant and educational atmosphere for students ages 3 through adult. You will find only the best dance facility and faculty, as we have three studios with quality sprung dance floors, ample changing rooms, parent viewing windows, a parent waiting area, and private parking.
Our faculty consists of highly qualified professional and master teachers who are dedicated to the art of dance and providing a strong dance education for all of our students. Along with the many technical skills our dancers learn, they also learn many important life skills, such as discipline, goal setting and commitment. Students of all ages experience a higher level of confidence, self expression and creativity. Community service is also important to all of us at Amy Blake’s Academy of Dance, and we pass this message on to our students by encouraging their participation in our bi-annual Nutcracker, Merging Forces Concert, and other community service activities.
