Joscelyn has been dancing since the age of 3. She trained in Southern California and danced competitively since she was 5 years old, traveling to Las Vegas, Disneyland, Florida, and much more. Upon graduating High School, she saw a need and decided to open a dance program at Edwards Air Force Base. The program outgrew the community center so she moved the program to her own studio space and there was born, “The Dance Craze.” Joscelyn owned and was the main teacher at The Dance Craze for 15 years.

Her competitive team competed all over California and would bring home top awards, choreography awards, scholarships and she won “Teacher of the Year” from Rainbow Dance Competition for highest scoring routines at Vegas Nationals. Her dancers were also featured in the Disneyland parade, dancing on stage at California Adventure, dancing in the Christmas Day Parade at Disney World and a couple of them are working dancers/princesses at Disney World. Joscelyn and her family moved to Texas 1.5 years ago and are loving it!

She is constantly trying to improve and develop her knowledge of dance by attending teacher workshops and attending conventions. When she is not teaching she loves spending time with her husband, Daniel Rivers and children Brooklyn (11), Mason (9) and Eli (5) or running her online boutique. She is so excited to bring her knowledge and passion for dance to Amy Blake’s!
